ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Permanent 0.6 EFT part-time position located at Werribee Mercy Hospital
- Hours can be increased until June 2024
- This is a Grade 3 Social Work role, however advanced Grade 2 Social Workers will be considered
- Provide dynamic, high quality, evidence - based, responsive social work services to a broad range of client groups in the Emergency Department and Short Stay Unit
- Excellent opportunity to work in a challenging, multidisciplinary model of care
ABOUT YOU:
- Willingness and ability to participate in a weekend roster and public holiday roster. Can negotiate frequency of weekend work
- Bachelor or Masters of Social Work
- Advanced clinical Social Work skills
- Hospital Social Work and /or substantial, diverse community service sector experience
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team with complex individuals and families, across the lifespan
- Strong understanding of, and ability to comply with relevant legislation and frameworks underpinning health social work
- Enthusiastic and demonstrated team building and leadership capabilities
