Senior Doctor/SMO - Non Specialist

  • The hospital has 12 acute beds and provides medical, accident and emergency, outpatients, pharmacy, antenatal and postnatal care, minor operations and palliative care services. Clinics for dentistry, asthma and diabetes are also available.

  • Flights and accommodation is provided in a self contained, non sharing unit and a car to use after hours.

An Outback QLD hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in General Practice from 01/03/2025 to 05/03/2025.

SHIFTS:

01/03/25 – 05/03/25 GP/ED

Duties will include working in the Medical Practice Monday – Friday and being on call after hours and weekends for emergency presentation at the MPHS.
The practice has a dedicated practice nurse and admin officer and operates 9am – 5pm. They use Best Practice software.
