The PositionA Senior Medical Officer is required to provide comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and emergency medical services in a rural hospital setting. The role includes 24-hour emergency department coverage on a rostered basis, as well as outreach services to surrounding communities. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams, participate in clinical governance, and have opportunities for research, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives. This is a permanent full-time or part-time position, with flexible hours available.

Essential Criteria
- AHPRA Registration as a Medical Practitioner
- FRACGP or FACRRM (or enrolled in an approved training program)
- Advanced skills in Emergency Medicine, Anaesthetics, Rural Generalist Surgery, or Paediatrics preferred
- Commitment to rural healthcare, leadership, and clinical governance
- Ability to participate in on-call rosters
The Package
- Salary range: $182,106 - $266,677 per annum (pro rata) + Super
