About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to demonstrate responsibility for the operational planning, management and evaluation of designated services and maintenance of professional nursing within TPCH Clinical Trials Centre (CTC), and nursing research services. The role is responsible for developing and maintaining a business model to support and develop the long-term sustainability of clinical trials at TPCH.   

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Accountable for managing effective and cost-efficient management of hospital and clinical trials/research resources and services within and available to The Prince Charles Hospital CTC in collaboration with the Principal Investigators of relevant clinical trials.
  • Identify inefficient processes and develop new processes and procedures to best meet the needs of the existing clinical trials activity, noting plans are to develop early phase clinical trial services and expand all clinical trials services.
  • Maintain strong networks and connections with academic partners, research centres, government, national and/or international institutions and commercial agencies conducting clinical trials.
  • Commit to a consumer/patient focused positive workforce in the delivery of health care by designing, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating safety and quality practices and initiatives.
