Primary Objective: Supports and provides collaborative, appropriate, proficient, coordinated direct and indirect clinical care for complex client presentations, including working with and alongside less experienced nursing and midwifery staff, within the specialty area. The role collaborates with surgeons to facilitate Surgical morbidity and mortality meetings, analyse audit data, and review RiskMan reports. This role supports quality improvement by identifying trends, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with best practice standards to enhance surgical safety and patient outcomes. Collaboration with the Multidisciplinary team and key stakeholders is essential to drive the requirements of this role.
