About the Role

As a Breast Nurse Consultant, you will be at the forefront of providing exceptional care and coordination for patients navigating breast cancer. This pivotal role requires a blend of expert clinical knowledge and leadership, empowering you to oversee the delivery of nursing and multi-disciplinary team activities. You will play a key role in ensuring continuity of care, supporting patients and their families throughout the journey, and driving quality outcomes. With a significant degree of autonomy, you'll use your clinical expertise to influence decision-making, fostering a compassionate and coordinated care environment.

This role also offers exciting opportunities for professional growth, particularly for those on the path to becoming Nurse Practitioners. You will work closely with experienced mentors, expanding your skills through postgraduate qualifications and hands-on clinical exposure. About You

We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced individual who brings the following qualities:

  • Qualifications: Registered Nurse/Midwife with current registration and practising certificate.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to foster a supportive, team-based environment.
  • Experience: At least 3 years post-registration experience, including leadership roles and supervision of staff.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of relevant healthcare legislation, safety standards, and contemporary nursing or midwifery issues.
