About the Role
As a Breast Nurse Consultant, you will be at the forefront of providing exceptional care and coordination for patients navigating breast cancer. This pivotal role requires a blend of expert clinical knowledge and leadership, empowering you to oversee the delivery of nursing and multi-disciplinary team activities. You will play a key role in ensuring continuity of care, supporting patients and their families throughout the journey, and driving quality outcomes. With a significant degree of autonomy, you'll use your clinical expertise to influence decision-making, fostering a compassionate and coordinated care environment.
This role also offers exciting opportunities for professional growth, particularly for those on the path to becoming Nurse Practitioners. About You
We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced individual who brings the following qualities:
- Qualifications: Registered Nurse/Midwife with current registration and practising certificate.
- Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to foster a supportive, team-based environment.
- Experience: At least 3 years post-registration experience, including leadership roles and supervision of staff.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of relevant healthcare legislation, safety standards, and contemporary nursing or midwifery issues.
