About the role

We are seeking a senior physiotherapist to provide safe and high quality service and input at Benjamin Short Grove (BSG) Aged Care Facility.

Whilst based at Benjamin Short Grove, you will be employed through the Orange Health Service Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology department who has a focus on innovative models of care and is the largest rural hospital in New South Wales and is the regional teaching, referral and trauma centre for the Central West.

In this role you will lead the Physiotherapy service in this setting and work in collaboration with the BSG team. You will provide Physiotherapy assessments and interventions to the residents and have a key role in clinical areas such as falls prevention and aged care. You will also evaluate and implement the service and work according to evidence based practice.

This role also involves participating in the Physiotherapy Department weekend service.

We are seeking someone who has a passion for improving the health of others, who can work autonomously, as well as working within a team.
