Community and Oral Health are looking for a Senior Medical Officer to join their team. Community and Oral Health Services in Metro South Health provide a range of population and client centred care strategies, with the aim of supporting clients to be able to live independently in the community.This role provides high quality medical services for clients of Community and Oral Health Services and will specifically lead and provide in person care at Redlands Residential Centre and within the Residential Transition Care Program.

About the Role
- Practice advanced general medicine/ general practice/ urgent care/ rural and remote skills in accordance with your approved credentialed scope of clinical practice (General Medicine, General Practice or Rural and Remote Medicine).
- Provide, in accordance with the standards of the discipline and the ethics of the profession, quality, safe and compassionate care for all clients.
- Support early discharge by providing any necessary medical advice for recently discharged clients beyond the scope of the client's GP or for clients without a known GP.
- Contribute to the provision of population health services to communities served, including active participation in community health programs.
