Your new Role:

The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) is responsible for leading and coordinating the General Ward at Beaudesert Hospital and Palen Creek Offender Health Centre at an advanced practice level. Their role is to ensure the achievement of best practice standards in clinical care and patient-centered approaches within the healthcare team, while also overseeing the efficient and effective management of human, material, and financial resources.

Beaudesert Hospital:

Beaudesert Hospital is a rural hospital in Queensland's Scenic Rim region with a rich history of healthcare that spans more than 120 years. We provide rural healthcare across a large geographic area south-west of Logan and the Gold Coast with patients who see us coming from Undullah in the north-west right down to the southern Queensland border. We offer services to adults and children, including 24-hour emergency care, maternity, mental, dental, allied health and outpatient clinics, minor surgery and palliative care.

We're a smaller hospital that offer hands-on training and support to our staff and students. As a secondary teaching hospital, we also have strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland. Our region is known for its scenery and rural charm and patients at the hospital receive care from our team, who are passionate about caring for their community.
