A Northern NSW hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in Internal Medicine from 04/04/2025 to 11/04/2025.

SHIFTS:

0800hours Friday 4th April 2025 until 1800hours
0800hours Monday 7TH April 2025 until 1800hours Friday 11th April 2025
Shift is 0800hours – 1800hours each day (no on call)

We need several experienced Medical Officer/s (PGY5 +) to cover the Inpatient Medical Ward so we can maintain 7day/week cover on an ongoing basis. The Doctor may also be asked to assist with emergencies in the ED while on duty as will the ED Doctors assist with any emergencies on the inpatient ward. The Doctor will be working as a Sole Practitioner in the ward with direct telephone links to Lismore Base Hospital Consultants. The locum will be supported in the Hospital by very experienced Senior Nurses in the ward and ED staff - Specialist (FACEM) who is rostered every day and ED RMO. The ED Medical Officers assist with any ward emergencies and cover the ward after hours.
