An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse (CN) Case Manager in Interventional Suites to lead and deliver expert clinical leadership in the provision and coordination of person-centred care, within the outpatient clinical setting. As part of a dynamically expanding unit, the CN Case manager will practice at an advanced level of autonomous, professional clinical practise, and decision making in collaboration primarily with the Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Interventional Radiology speciality consultants.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Provision of clinical governance and oversight of elective Pre-Admission processes and waitlist management, utilising appropriate state guidelines and legislation (SOSIS).
- Provision of expert pre-procedure management advice and direction to the patient, medical, nursing, and clinical support staff within SCUH.
- Managing pre-procedural requirements in coordination with treating team e.g. Medication instructions, prerequisite tests and reports arranged and/or available.
- Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.
- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
Remuneration value up to $131 900p.a., comprising salary between $107 960 - $115 604 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Garde 6).
