Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced Staff Specialist in Cardiology to join our team at Concord Repatriation General Hospital.
We are looking for a Staff Specialist in Cardiology! The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in General Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology and device management, and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Cardiology Department and Hospital as required.
The Staff Specialist will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.
The successful applicant will be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) with recognised qualifications in Cardiology and recognised post graduate training in cardiac electrophysiology and electrophysiologic device implantation (pacemakers and defibrillators) and management and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.
