About the Opportunity
The Gastroenterology Research Unit of Monash Health is inviting you to join us as a Research Nurse to coordinate clinical trials, ensuring top-quality data and optimal participant care. Your role includes recruitment management, nursing care, participant education and meticulous data recording, all in line with professional standards. This position will be working with patients across all facets of Gastroenterology and Hepatology including but not limited to: IBD, Metabolic Fatty Liver Disease, Cirrhosis, PBC, Hepatitis.
The role is part-time, 32 hours a week, Monday-Friday excluding public holidays for a fixed term contract of 12 months. No shift work. No weekends. Great work-life balance and flexibility. Work perks include salary packaging and access to Fitness Passport.
About You
Your demonstrated clinical skills, including problem-solving, planning and coordination of direct patient care will be instrumental in providing participants with comprehensive ongoing education about trial procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for data collection, analysis and preparation of results, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocol guidelines. Your proactive approach to monitoring participants' progress and facilitating further clinical management as needed will be crucial in driving the success of our research endeavours. To excel in this role, candidates must hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and have prior nursing experience. Experience in clinical trials or other clinical research settings or a background in Gastroenterology and Hepatology will also be highly advantageous.
