About the Role:
Join our team as an Occupational Therapist Grade 2 on a full time, fixed term opportunity, until February 2026. This position is based primarily at our Monash Health Community Dandenong location, with travel between Monash Health sites as required.
This role will see you working in a variety of specialisms including (but not limited to): Neurological, Orthopaedic, Cardiac, Oncology and General Rehabilitation. Working with a diverse range of clients, no two days will be the same! We will offer you all the guidance, support and training you need to progress. You will work collaboratively with a fantastic group of people who are inclusive, passionate and share a vision to provide excellent, evidence-based care for patients and their families.
Key responsibilities include:
Independent Clinical Care: Provide evidence-based, consumer-centered assessments and interventions, working collaboratively with patients and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care.
Specialist Knowledge & Support: Offer expert guidance to colleagues and support others in using digital health technologies to improve patient care.
Leadership & Development: Mentor and support peers, students, and Allied Health Assistants, contributing to their skill development and fostering a positive, inclusive team environment.
Commitment to Professional Growth: Engage in lifelong learning, evidence-based practice, and reflection to continuously enhance clinical expertise and professional development.
Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to navigate complex clinical issues, contribute to process improvements, and ensure timely access to care.

Mandatory requirements of the role:
· Bachelor of Occupational Therapist or Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent
· Current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) – Occupational Therapy, with no restrictions (cannot have a non-practising registration)
· Current drivers licence
· Relevant professional experience working with adults in a rehabilitation or community setting
· Minimum of two years professional experience
· Experience in Neurological rehabilitation (desired)
