About the Role

Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.

The Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery Research Clinical Nurse Consultant will be responsible for the overall coordination of the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Research including all aspects of the clinical trial feasibility, budget negotiations and ethics submissions.

Ideal Candidate

  • Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field.
  • Holds approved postgraduate qualifications relevant to the specialty or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a multidisciplinary team environment.
