What you will bring to the role:
- Current registration as Registered Nurse (Division 1) with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Completed Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Management and Education or currently enrolled in ADEA-accredited course.
- Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE) as per ADEA; or eligible for CDE or willingness to obtain
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
- Demonstrated effective communication skills - written, verbal and electronic. This includes a working knowledge of EMR, Office applications, Internet data retrieval and formal correspondence.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in diabetes technology software for insulin pump delivery and continuous glucose monitors
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work while ensuring quality of work and clinical care
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development
