A Northern NSW hospital requires Registrar/PHO in Psychiatry for the following date(s).
Shift(s) details as below:
from 24/02/2025 08:30 to 07/03/2025 17:00 at $150 per hour
from 14/03/2025 08:30 to 28/03/2025 17:00 at $150 per hour
The service provides consultation to all wards within TRRH including ICU, Coronary Care, General Medicine, Maternity, and Surgical Units including Orthopaedics, Rehabilitation, Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit, Palliative Care, Renal & Dialysis Unit, the North West Cancer Centre and the Diabetes Centre. The CL service works collaboratively with medical staff, allied health staff and nursing staff to provide specialist psychiatric diagnostic clarification and to facilitate the development and implementation of psychiatric care for inpatients within TRRH. The broad remit of the service is to improve the mental health outcomes of patients within TRRH through the provision of expert collaborative mental health care, staff education, patient advocacy and policy development. The registrar will be responsible for responding to CL Psychiatry referrals within TRRH, completing comprehensive initial assessments, formulation and depending upon level of experience, initiating biopsychosocial management recommendations.
