About Your Role
As a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) at MLHD, you will be instrumental in the development and career success of the nursing team.
You will be the go-to expert for nursing education, providing engaging evidence-based programs and support to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
Reap the benefit of your patient and customised approach to education; ensuring all nursing staff are able to apply their learning to clinical practice and deliver safe, high-quality healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Education and Development:Promoting best practice through staff development and clinical education and training, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in accordance with governing documents including policies, procedures, guidelines, pathways and frameworks.
Leadership and Management:Act as a clinical leader to inspire and manage a diverse team of nurses and healthcare staff, provide appropriate supervision and guidance to motivate and encourage the workforce to achieve their goals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Quality Assurance:Maintain high standards of patient care by implementing best practices and quality improvement initiatives, in accordance with national standards. Supervise, mentor and support the workforce to promote a culture of quality and safety.
Critical Thinking:Demonstrate expert clinical knowledge through effective problem solving and decision making, adapting education approaches to empower staff in their roles and throughout their education needs.
Communication and Teamwork:Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate a trusting environment conducive of learning.
Professional Development:Maintain professional growth and development by participating in educational opportunities.
