The Maitland Hospital Paediatric Unit comprises of 12 beds providing exceptional care for patients across the age continuum from Neonates to Adolescents. Working in this unit will give you a diverse range of nursing opportunities including medical, surgical and orthopaedic nursing, caring for patients through their pre and postoperative journey.


About your new role:
Nursing Paediatric patients from newborn through to 18 years old, with range of diverse admission diagnosis. There is 3 different shifts morning and afternoon both being 8 hours and night being 10 hours. There will be opportunities to work in both our Paediatric and Special Care Unit.


About you:
We are looking for staff who are driven, compassionate and capable. This position will involve orientation days and ongoing support by the Paediatric Clinical Nurse Educator. Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
