About the role
This position provides an exciting opportunity for registered nurses committed to working in a community mental health team.The Children & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team in Orange is a multidisciplinary team and partners with a range of Health Services and other agencies to provide acute mental health services to young people and their carers.
The team prides itself on working collaboratively and together we maintain an excellent workplace culture of support and flexibility, while ensuring a high level of clinical care is provided. We provide evidence based best practice in a trauma informed and recovery focussed environment with young people and their carers central to their care.
To be successful in this role you will have effective engagement, assessment, and interactional skills as well as the ability to manage people exhibiting challenging behaviours. You will also possess high level interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in your team. You’ll work in an environment that values and supports your professional development, with opportunities to build your clinical confidence and skills.
