Clinical Nurse Consultant/Specialist

Exciting Multiple Roles- Permanent, Full and Part time, Upper Mt Gravatt | Deliver safe, high quality, person-centred tele-triage, and tele-child health clinical care to callers across Queensland.

The role  
As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide expert nursing care, leadership, and support within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in Child and Family Health. You will be responsible for comprehensive assessment, planning, and implementation of care, ensuring alignment with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) standards, Queensland Health policies, and best clinical practices. Your role will involve mentoring and supervising Registered Nurses and graduate students while maintaining a strong focus on quality improvement, risk mitigation, and patient safety. With advanced clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills, you will actively contribute to the development of protocols and service enhancements that promote excellence in care delivery.  

In addition to direct clinical care, you will play a key role in supporting system improvements, research initiatives, and education within the service. This includes leading quality audits, participating in clinical trials, and implementing evidence-based practice changes to enhance patient outcomes. As a clinical leader, you will model professional integrity, accountability, and effective collaboration, ensuring a culture of continuous learning and service excellence. Your ability to integrate advanced theoretical knowledge with compassionate, technology-enabled nursing care will be essential in achieving optimal patient outcomes and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
