- A Degree in Social Work from a recognised University and eligible for AASW membership.
- Current unrestricted Class C NSW driver's license.
- Post Graduate Social Work clinical experience demonstrating competencies in comprehensive assessment and case management of frail older clients with complex health problems and other community support needs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of guardianship, financial management and elder abuse issues and related legislation.
- Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of community aged care resources.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to manage a demanding caseload.
- Demonstrated high level communication, report writing skills and computer skills.
