Consultant/Specialist/GP

Paediatric Department are looking for a Staff Specialist, Paediatrics to join their team. In accordance with the philosophy of the Metro South Health Service District, the Staff Specialist Paediatrician’s role is expected to provide high quality health care to babies and children requiring paediatric or neonatal services. The position will be required to provide clinical supervision and support, as appropriate, to the registrars, principal house officers and junior medical officers working within the Redland Hospital.

About the Role

  • Follow defined service quality standards, Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
  • Perform duties as determined by the Service.
  • Perform any other duties directed by the Service which are within their scope of practice and for which they are registered in the State.
  • Perform other provisions related to the duties of the Medical Officer as agreed by the parties
