: Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2
What you will bring to the role
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
- Post-registration qualifications (Grad Cert minimum) in Palliative Care and/or relevant specialty with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience working in supportive and palliative care nursing, or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the organisation.
- Commitment to champion, educate and lead an interdisciplinary team to improve clients’ outcomes as part of a team.
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making abilities according to best practice.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, carers and a diverse range of health care providers.
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical practice development.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision maintaining involvement within the wider interdisciplinary team.
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel. This may include driving long distances across the LHD.
