Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Must hold current general registration to practice as a Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA). Extensive experience as a Level 2 Paediatric Physiotherapist and advanced specialist knowledge and skill in children’s early development and diverse range of paediatric diagnostic groups.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously applying professional high-level professional judgment and expertise to conduct specialist paediatric SP assessments, plan, deliver and evaluate physiotherapy interventions for children aged 0-6 years presenting with complex developmental, health and social needs - including impact of trauma.
- Demonstrated ability to work in partnership with families and provide trauma-informed care for children from vulnerable families and priority population groups. Ability to provide information, guidance and advice to parents and caregivers from diverse backgrounds.
