About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for a Women’s Health Physiotherapist 3 within the recently Implemented SWSLHD Specialist Menopause Hub.
This is the first and only publicly available multidisciplinary Specialist Menopause Service in SWSLHD targeting severe and/ or complex menopause symptom management for women across South West Sydney and three referring Local Health Districts (LHD) of Murrumbidgee, Nepean Blue Mountains and Western NSW. This position will be part of a broader Women’ s and Men’s Health Physiotherapy network across SWSLHD and is supported by a Level 4 PT senior within the Menopause Hub.
As one of only four hubs across NSW, this position sits within SWSLHD Specialty Menopause Hub and uses 100% virtual technologies to deliver a specialist menopause service under SWSLHD Primary & Community health in Campbelltown, NSW.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary clinical team that includes Endocrinology, Gynaecology, Haematology, Psychiatry, Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Nursing and Clinical Psychology.
The service is also responsible for delivering Menopause training and education opportunities for clinical care partners including primary care GP providers and other LHD clinicians.

What You'll be Doing
The senior Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist - Menopause is responsible for providing a high quality women’s and men’s health physiotherapy service to the SWSLHD Specialist Menopause Service. This includes service evaluation and development and use of advanced reasoning and practice skills in the management of women’s (and men’s) health patients of complex nature and works in specialized multidisciplinary clinics. This position may also be also responsible for the supervision,teaching and training of new graduate and rotational Level 1/2 Physiotherapists.

- Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated experience in supervision and teaching of staff and/or students.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and evidence based practice
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in quality improvement, research and service development activities.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated Advanced clinical knowledge and skills in the physiotherapy management of Women’s Health Physiotherapy
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
