What you will bring to the role
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as health promotion, population health, education, allied health and/or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Demonstrated high level knowledge, understanding and experience addressing the social determinants of health and the overall health needs of populations
- Demonstrated experience in project and program planning and management, particularly in relation to coordinating and recruiting participants to community healthy lifestyle groups and programs.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, teamwork, negotiation, communication and motivational skills, which show a capacity to build achieving teams with a focus on high quality outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships with community, government, non-government and business organisations to achieve outcomes in health promotion.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead people and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and time management skills.
- Valid unrestricted drivers' licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment.
