An opportunity is now available for a Registered Nurses to join the team in the Endoscopy Unit at Nepean Hospital working in a Temporary Full time or Part time position to cover maternity leave. This position on offer is until February 2026.
Being a part of the Endoscopy Unit Team will see you provide safe and effective patient-centred nursing care to the patients/clients and carers of the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District. To ensure optimal outcomes for patients/clients and carers of the service through the promotion of best practice including the appropriate escalation of care and to work collaboratively utilising effective team communication with members of the multidisciplinary health team in the planning, implementation, assessment and evaluation of patient care. This role will see you act as an advocate for the specific needs of all patients/clients and carers including those from the indigenous population or other multi-cultural groups providing appropriate care to the patient/client undergoing specialised procedures.

What you will bring to the role:
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Significant post graduate experience in an acute hospital. Recent experience in Endoscopy or Perioperative nursing preferable
- Demonstrated effective communication skills - written and verbal
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Able to perform effectively as a team member
