What you will bring to the role

1. Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligibility for full membership of Dietitians Australia.
2. Demonstrated high level of clinical expertise and knowledge in the assessment and management of clients with chronic and complex conditions including experience in palliative care across community or hospital settings.
3. Demonstrated leadership ability to provide clinical support, education, and consultation to health professionals in area of specialty to improve client outcomes and service design.
4. Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making abilities according to best practice including the ability to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel, complex or critical nature.
5. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, carers and stakeholders and provide advice to managers on service development.
6. Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and quality improvement.
7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintaining involvement within the wider interdisciplinary team.
8. Current driver's licence (including P1 or above) and willingness to use for work purposes. This may include driving long distances across the LHD.
