  1. Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in speech pathology which is accredited as eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  2. Extensive post graduate clinical experience in paediatrics with demonstrated advanced clinical practice and reasoning skills for the management of feeding, swallowing and communication difficulties in infants and children, primarily in an outpatient setting.
  3. Ability to work effectively in a large department, within a multidisciplinary team and independently.
  4. Demonstrated experience supervising staff and/or students.
  5. Demonstrated experience in implementing quality improvement, service evaluation processes, and research to advance evidence-based practice, to assist and provide guidance to service managers.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy and time management.
  7. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
