What you'll be doing

This position offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional physiotherapy services within the Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD). The role is focused on providing patient-centred care, driving service improvements in line with organisational goals, and working independently in the community. Senior physiotherapy support will be available to address complex cases and challenges impacting therapy. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to WSLHD patients.
  • Contributing to planning, implementing, and evaluating physiotherapy services.
  • Playing a key role in service improvement and reporting initiatives.
  • Ensuring patient care aligns with WSLHD’s values and vision.
  • Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team for optimal outcomes.

Essential Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy
  • Current General Physiotherapy Registration under AHPRA.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent, current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) and current unrestricted NSW Drivers licence.
  2. Demonstrated ability to analyse problems, set priorities and apply a range of options to develop solutions skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
  3. Demonstrated computer literacy, high level verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
  4. Ability to provide high quality physiotherapy services across a broad range of clinical areas.
  5. Effective time management and organisational skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  7. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and knowledge of Quality Improvement & Evidenced Based Practice.
