Selection Criteria:
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible.
- Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and registration with AHPRA and demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning.
- Extensive post graduate clinical experience in occupational therapy and mental health, with demonstrated experience working therapeutically with children, adolescents, young people and their families in a systemic way
- Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, throughout all organisational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to provide high level clinical advice, education and support to others in providing service excellence.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel, complex or critical nature.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes.
- Demonstrated active participation in developing, implementing, and reporting on services.
- Current drivers licence and willingness to travel in accordance with the position.
