About the role:

Join a small, dedicated team focused on delivering person-centred care to our community members. Every day presents new challenges, providing an opportunity to grow and develop in the field. We are looking for someone eager to learn and enhance their skills while making a meaningful impact.

In this role, you will act as an advocate, supporting patients in making informed decisions about their health and ensuring they understand clinical interventions and service delivery processes. You will also be responsible for making referrals, managing emergencies, and supervising staff, including mentoring students on clinical placement.

This position requires a commitment to cultural respect, especially when working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, ensuring health outcomes are enhanced through partnership and understanding. You will work within professional and ethical boundaries, demonstrating a strong adherence to HNE Health values and NSW Health’s Code of Conduct. Additionally, you will ensure patient safety, follow workplace policies, and report any hazards or risks promptly.

A comprehensive orientation program will be provided to ensure you are well-equipped for success. If you are passionate about making a difference in the community and providing exceptional care, we would love to hear from you.

Guyra is located just over a 6-hour drive from Sydney, and a 5-and-a-half-hour drive from Brisbane.
