- Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and eligibility for membership of the AASW.
- Demonstrated high level experience and knowledge of crisis intervention within a tertiary trauma setting, including grief and bereavement and counselling skills.
- Demonstrated high level skills in Child Protection, Domestic Violence, Victims of Crime and knowledge of Statutory and mandatory legislation.
- Demonstrated experience in quality improvement activities and evaluating outcomes.
- Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures for service improvement and skills in providing consultation, training and education.
- Well-developed time management skills with excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Participation in the After Hours Crisis On Call Social Work Service
