About us:
The Emergency Department is a dynamic workplace which treats both Adult and Paediatric populations. It is made up of 17 acute patient treatment areas, 3 resuscitation bays, triage, and Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) assessment areas, and a Fast-Track area which treats less acute presentations. The Emergency Department also manages a 12-bed Short Stay Unit.
About the role:
- Demonstration in the provision of safe, evidence based, client focused care within the Emergency Department setting.
- Ability to contribute towards the efficient functioning of the Emergency Department with a strong focus on effective teamwork within the multidisciplinary setting.
- Interpersonal and communication skills that support competent health care practice, delegation and supervision of Enrolled Nurses and Students in Nursing.
- Demonstrated ability to recognise and respond to the deteriorating patient within the Emergency Department setting.
About you:
- Mandatory qualification/s: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and current annual practicing certificate.

Total remuneration value of up to $121,106 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $41.73 - $53.53 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
