About Your Role
An excellent opportunity is available for level 1/ 2 clinicians and newly graduated Speech Pathologists to join the Wagga Health Service Speech Pathology team. These full-time, temporary, 1-year contracts will provide the successful candidates with an opportunity to consolidate and enhance their skills in a supportive and clinically diverse setting.
The Wagga Speech Pathology Service has teams servicing paediatric caseloads (inpatient and community), and adult caseloads (including inpatient Stroke, Oncology, Aged, and Critical Care) and general adult outpatient caseload. These services are housed in newly redeveloped acute and ambulatory/community health care buildings.
These positions will be well supported with professional development opportunities, and ongoing supervision by experienced clinicians. A choice of caseloads will be offered to the successful candidate (i.e. community paediatric or adult acute or combined).
The successful applicants will have the opportunity to develop experience in the areas of paediatric &/or adult VFSS, and Laryngectomy with the support of experienced clinicians. The combination of caseloads will be discussed and offered in line with the interview process. Applicants are encouraged to contact to find out more about what is on offer.
