About the Teams:
The Gold Coast University Hospital General Medicine Unit is a 24-bed inpatient unit which provides high quality care for patients with varied acute and general medical conditions, including older people living with varying degrees of cognitive decline.
The Gold Coast University Hospital Specialist Medical Unit (SMU) provides a diverse range of medical services. SMU consists of 28 inpatient beds to provide capacity for cardiac monitoring, respiratory isolation, and bariatric specific care.
