Staff Specialist –Community
• 13.12.24 – 03.01.25
• 03.02.25 – 02.05.25
o some outreach clinics required. Potentially some capacity for inpatient.
o Monday to Friday 0800 – 1630
o No nights
o No weekends
o No on call

Staff Specialist – Inpatient
• ASAP – 20.12.24
• ASAP – 18.11.24
o Monday to Friday 0800 – 1630
o Typically, 3 juniors to a consultant (1 reg, 2xrmo/intern). Pt loads of around 11-15 per team. There are 4 inpatient teams in total.
o The ward operates off geographically based teams (so they allocate patients based on the suburb they live in), which means all teams attend to all levels of acuity.
o Forensic order and treatment authority patients are frequent.
o No nights
o No weekends
o No on call

Staff Specialist – Remote East
• 30.12.24 – 10.01.25
• 13.01.25 – 24.04.25 *UPDATED
• 01.07.25 – 31.12.25
o Fly-in, Fly-out position to the Torres and Cape serving remote communities.
o Monday to Friday 0800 – 1630 - travel can occasionally fall outside of these hours during outreach
o 1 registrar with this team who typically travels with the consultant
o Outreach accommodation and travel is arranged by the service
o No nights
o No weekends
o No on call

Staff Specialist – Rural Tablelands
• 30.12.24 – 24.01.25
• 06.05.25 – 31.12.25
o This position services rural communities in the Tablelands. The position is based out of 2 days per week and we prefer the consultant attend in person the other 3 days however there is capacity to modify this on a case-by-case basis
o Monday to Friday 0800 – 1630 - Clinic times are usually 0900-1530 to allow for travel between sites. On hospital based days Drs attend to MDTs and VC clinics
o 1 registrar with this team
o No nights
o No weekends
o No on call
