A Metropolitan SA hospital requires a Junior Medical Officer in Psychiatry from 06/11/2024 to 02/02/2025.

To provide clinical services in Psychiatry, of the highest possible standard to patients in terms of individual performance and by contributing to a multi-disciplinary approach to the delivery of patient care.

Active involvement in teaching medical students and junior medical staff. Conduct of research if required. During the attachment to psychiatry, the Trainee Medical Officer will be supervised by the relevant consultant of senior in the unit. Supervision occurs on a daily basis in the context of the trainee’s clinical work. The overall management of the patient will be discussed and formalised during the multidisciplinary ward rounds or clinical meetings at which time Consultant supervision also occurs.
