1. This position has been advertised under the SWSLHD Aboriginal Targeted Recruitment Program. This means Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, where found suitable, will be given higher priority. Do you identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander? If so, please tell us about your Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage, including a brief description of your family and community connections.
2. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and at least 3 years’ experience in the clinical specialty with relevant post-registration qualification.
3. Outline your understanding of the causative factors related to drug and alcohol misuse within Aboriginal communities and how you would ensure clinical practices utilised to address these factors are culturally responsive.
4. Describe your experience in drug and alcohol clinical practices including assessment, planning, treatment management, and clinical leadership.
5. Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
