The Allied Health department are looking for a Senior Physiotherapist to join their team. The physiotherapy department at QEII Jubilee Hospital includes approximately 35 FTE physiotherapists and 5 FTE physiotherapy assistants. It is part of a multi-professional service providing care to inpatients and outpatients. Inpatient services are provided in the geriatric, orthopaedic, general medical, general surgical, ICU and GEMRHITH settings.

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to deliver senior women's, men's & pelvic health physiotherapy services within the QEII Jubilee Hospital.

This includes:

  • Delivering high quality evidenced based women's, men's & pelvic health physiotherapy clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning interprofessional team.
  • Contribution to the advancement of quality women's, men's & pelvic health physiotherapy services and optimal patient care, through provision of service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.
  • Monitoring and reporting on work practices and outcomes, including initiating, planning and evaluating relevant quality and research initiatives.
  • Providing supervision and training to less experienced (HP3) clinicians, students and to Allied Health Assistants (AHA's).
