About the Opportunity
The primary role of the Senior Occupational Therapist is to provide high quality assessment and occupational therapy interventions to help consumers manage their health and meet their goals. The Senior Occupational Therapist is an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team.

What you'll be doing
The senior occupational therapist provides clinical governance, leadership and expertise within occupational therapy services including the provision of safe, timely, compassionate and high quality person-centred careto patients at Bowral Hospital within the Inpatient Acute Service.

How to Apply

  1. Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  2. Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and significant experience in the provision of occupational therapy services within the inpatient wards.
  3. Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
  4. Demonstrated experience in the identification of evidence based practice and/or development of treatment protocols.
  5. 4.Demonstrated experience participating in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating the quality improvement process.
  6. Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills.
  7. Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring of staff and/or students.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in a range of programs.
  9. Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
