About the Opportunity
Campbelltown & Camden hospital are seeking a Level 1-2 physiotherapist for a permanent full-time position. We will also have temporary contracts becoming available that we will seek to fill through this recruitment.

This role will form part of our rotational Level 1-2 positions, with rotations in all major clinical areas including: orthopaedics, rehabilitation, paediatrics, cardiorespiratory, acute aged care, community, musculoskeletal outpatients, and others. Campbelltown & Camden Hospital have a positive culture of support and growth. We have a proven track record of growing Level 1-2 staff into seniors and supporting education opportunities, upskilling, and career progression.

Campbelltown Hospital is our acute site, and Camden hospital - (located nearby and conveniently access from the M5->Narellan Rd) hosts our subacute rehabilitation services. All of our clinical areas have a dedicated senior team who will support your development. All areas have structured education programs that you will also be invited to participate in when ready.

All Level 1-2 positions form part of our weekend roster. You have options to nominate your preferred days and unavailability as part of this roster. Most level 1-2 staff work on average 1-2 weekend day shifts per month. Penalty rates are applicable.

What You'll be Doing
To provide professional and high quality physiotherapy services to patients in SWSLHD. This includes clinical duties (assessment, treatment and education) and participation in professional development, clinical supervision, teaching and other relevant departmental activities and administrative duties.

How to Apply

  1. Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  2. Demonstrated broad range of relevant physiotherapy clinical skills and experience
  3. Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication, computer skills and time management skills.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  5. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and the application of evidence based practice
  6. Demonstrated knowledge and involvement in quality improvement activities.
  7. Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
