About the role
A leadership opportunity to for a Senior Pharmacist to experience the full scope of hospital pharmacy practice within the vibrant pharmacy team of 20 at Dubbo Health Service.

As a part of the multidisciplinary team in a very active hospital, you’ll have a variety of interactions and diversity in your work every day, in a community that values your services and care.

In this role you’ll have exposure to a range of clinical areas and support the Chief Pharmacist overseeing clinical work in the team. You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of pharmacy services to outpatients and inpatients to ensure the quality use of medicines within the hospital setting. This includes dispensing, drug distribution, manufacturing, clinical pharmacy services, outpatient services, drug information, education and research.

This is a temporary full time role with flexible working hours Monday to Friday and the opportunity for additional on-call and weekend shifts.

This role would suit a pharmacist with an inquiring mind, a good communicator and who is keen to further improve their clinical expertise in a thriving team and community.
