What you will bring to the role

  1. Post graduate qualifications in Clinical Psychology and registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia with endorsement or working towards endorsement in clinical psychology
  2. Demonstrated skills and experience in the assessment and treatment of a range of psychological conditions or disorders in people with medical illnesses including adjustment disorder, panic and acute anxiety, acute stress disorder, major depression, pain management, behavioural issues
  3. Demonstrated experience and skill in conducting psychological and behavioural assessments
  4. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the provision of evidence based psychological therapies
  5. Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills, written communication skills, including use of a range of computer systems required for providing clinical care
  6. Demonstrated ability to both autonomously and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  7. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in evaluation and research
