A fantastic
opportunity exists for a qualified and highly motivated Nurse
Practitioner to join the Nephrology team at Karratha Health Campus
and provide nephrology services for patients in the West Pilbara
(Karratha, Roebourne, Onslow, Tom Price).
This is for a
Fixed Term Fulltime appointment at 76 hours per fortnight for a
two-year contract ending 30/06/2027, with the possibility of
extension.
To be successful,
you will have...
- Advanced
clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of illness
and injury relevant to the role.
- Well-developed clinical
problem-solving skills including conceptual and analytical
ability.
- Excellent interpersonal,
verbal, and written communication skills including negotiation
skills.
- Sound
knowledge of relevant legislative and health regulating Acts
including legislative obligations.
- Experience in quality
improvement, its practical application in meeting
patient’s needs and its relationship to strategic
development.
Position
Profile:
Provides advanced nursing
assessment, diagnosis, care and intervention to patients and
families within the scope of practice of a Nurse Practitioner.
Provides high-level clinical nursing, leadership, management, and
governance within the WA Country Health Service (WACHS), including
the operational management of area renal nursing services and
programs in partnership with key internal and external
stakeholders. Provides support to Clinical Nurse Consultant Renal
in implementing Kidney Strategy directions for Pilbara Region
including progressing the health reform strategy, continuous
quality improvement and improving patient safety.
