This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed
Term Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Permanent Part Time,
Permanent Full Time with the possibility of extension and/or
permanency.
Position Profile: As part of a
multidisciplinary team the Clinical Nurse (CN) provides clinical
and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence based
nursing care is delivered to patients. The CN facilitates and
promotes patient safety and quality of care; working within their
scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery
Board’s Midwifery Practice Decision Flowchart.
Ward 1B is a 24-bed inpatient ward at Perth
Children’s Hospital specialising in paediatric Burns,
Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgery, including elective and unplanned
emergency procedures and/or presentations. Ward 1B also comprises
the multidisciplinary Burns Outpatient Clinic (Clinic J) which is
managed by rotational ward nurses with the support of the Burns
Clinical Nurse Consultant.

Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is proud to be the
leading service provider for paediatric healthcare in Western
Australia, as the State’s only dedicated health service for
infants, children and young people. CAHS is made up four service
areas: Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental
Health Services (CAMHS), and Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH).
Consisting of over 6,500 employees, our services are delivered at
PCH and King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH), as well as across a
network of more than 160 community clinics across the metropolitan
area.
