Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide personal and medical care support for an adult male with special needs. The work is based in Adelaide, South Australia within the family home and in the community. This is a rewarding opportunity for suitable service providers that requires commitment and unquestionable reliability as well as the resilience and professionalism needed to work with an adult with special needs.
The RN will be co-working as part of team with other medical experts during weekday and weekend hours. Please consider this role if you meet the following requirements:
- Experience in seizure management and experience in emergency first aid life support is essential.
- Competent and appropriately trailed to perform venipuncture to obtain blood samples for laboratory testing
- A Police Check issued with the last 12 months with no disclosable outcomes (or willing to obtain)
- Vulnerable-person-related employment screening check (or willing to obtain)
- Senior First Aide Certificate or higher and able to assist in medical emergencies
- Full drivers licence
- Competent in speaking and writing English
