- Total Indicative Remuneration Package - $365,798 to $713,692 (pro rata) (subject to private practice agreement)

About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Department of Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology team as a Consultant/Senior Consultant, where you will be responsible for:
- Theprovision of an effective and efficient medical service within the objectives and philosophies of the Department of Neurology.
- Providing medical care to public and private inpatients and outpatients, as well as development of education and research portfolios.
- Active participation in clinical review programmes to monitor standards of practice and ensure the maintenance of quality outcomes.
- Clear communication with patients, their parents/carers and others involved in care provision.
- A team environment, which promotes positivity, learning and development, safety, and welfare of employees, acknowledges differences, and encourages creativity, innovation, and honesty.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
- Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
- Participation in Specialty College CPD program or equivalent
- Extensive experience in the provision of Paediatric Neurology and Neurophysiology services to patients.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing a quality service to the patient.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to work with individuals and families for positive health outcomes and to foster productive working relationships both internally and externally.
