About the Role
The Oculoplastics Fellow will engage in hands-on clinical practice as part of the Ophthalmology department at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day outpatient and inpatient clinical care of patients, under the guidance of nominated consultants. You will play a key role in ensuring that the department delivers the highest standard of care, while also mentoring junior medical staff to foster their development and clinical skills.
This position also offers the opportunity to contribute to the department’s teaching and education efforts. You will provide support to junior medical staff and actively participate in teaching sessions, enhancing their learning experience and contributing to the ongoing improvement of clinical practice within the department. About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds an MBBS or equivalent degree, registerable with AHPRA.
- Demonstrates a high standard of clinical practice and professional integrity.
- Has experience supervising and teaching junior medical staff.
- Possesses excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality improvement.
